Refund policy

We provide two types of Return and Refund policies for (1) Handbags and Jewelry or (2) Beauty Items respectively.

For Handbags and Jewelry, Return and Refund policy is as follows:

Returns & Exchanges Policy

  • Returns must be postmarked within 14 days of receiving the original order.
  • For items defective due to manufacturing issues, Cara Village covers replacement costs. Provide a valid invoice/receipt and photographic evidence of the defect. Send these to cv@caravillage.com
  • Examples of manufacturing defects: zipper issues, loose stitching, faulty hardware, or embellishments. Warranty exclusions: normal wear, stains, color transfers, pet damage, moisture discoloration, lost/stolen items, or damage from chemicals.
  • Return/exchange requests: submit to (our email address) within 14 days. Ensure original tags remain on the item. We don't offer repair, cleaning, or refurbishing services.
  • We offer store credit for product(s) that are unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with tags attached. Cara Village does not offer refunds on any purchases. 

 

Return & Exchange Steps:

  1. Email (cv@caravillage.com) with your order/invoice number. No order number? Provide proof of purchase.
  2. Attach a photo of the item. If it's damaged, show the defect clearly.
  3. Indicate your desired outcome (e.g., credit, replacement, refund).
  4. After approval, pack the item securely with the included form.
  5. Use an insured, traceable shipping method. We're not responsible for lost or stolen packages.
  6. For returns please ship back your product(s) in new and unused condition to:

*If the return is to the wrong address, our store cannot provide you with a refund or re-shipment.

Please Note:

  • Customers cover return shipping.
  • Sale items and gift cards are final. No returns accepted.
  • Report damaged or missing items within 7 days.
  • Refunds exclude any initial shipping fees.
  • Coordinate all returns with customer service first.
  • Uncoordinated return packages will be refused.
  • Claims without response for 30 days will be voided.

  • I paid with a gift card. How do I get a refund?
    - You'll receive a new Cara Village gift card.
  • Do you ship international?
    - No, we currently ship only within the US.

 

For Beauty Items, Return and Refund policy is as follows:

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on our store credit within 5 business days.
